Children at our school have a natural curiosity for other cultures and learning a language at our school provides an opening for children to explore this in a creative way and practical way.
The aims of learning a modern foreign language at Parson Cross CE Primary School are:
All children in Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6) are taught a Modern Foreign Language (MFL) and at Parson Cross we learn Spanish. Although not formally taught in FS and KS1, Spanish is encouraged by staff through greetings, songs, routines and counting.
